There’s something extraordinarily sad about this piece and I’ve read it through a few times and come back to it.
I think it’s the starkness of the image against the words that struck me the most. Like it was always supposed to be seen and communicated in the great circle of things. Isn’t it interesting how certain things catch our attention?

I'm in transit a lot. Outside sales job. Sometimes you see things that you know you are going to use later. Just gotta wait for the right moment. Turns out it was a lighting conceptual art storefront gig in lower Manhattan. I'm fond of the starkness too.
