Paul, I truly love your work and wish you'd publish a book of these with photographs.  I think it would be spectacular.

'Progress' - such a great idea but now unfortunately corrupted into an ideology where 'technical progress' is confused with 'societal progress'.

I agree with Ahavati - your poems would suit a black&white photo with each one.

I take all my photos in monochrome -
mine is a very old smartphone ..      :)

Reminds me of Philip Reeve's book 'Mortal Engines'. The cities definitely shudder with a loud heartbeat.
