Yes...you are right there Ely, we better keep a watchful eye on our selves, since that is the only thing we really can change. The urge to control, for which money and religion are tools, is what fucks things up....or like you say "lust after power"....

I felt the words seem to extend to more direct space. Almost as though in discussing the world, goverments, and organised religion they almost bringing it closer to home.

I do feel power struggles in my work environment sometimes. It kinda rang home for me.

It is very true! Organized religion and the multi-headed capital establishment, (business, speculative, banking, investment capital, etc), are waging a relentless war against working people - a one sided economic war - and against freedom of choice and democratic structures, values and principles.
As citizens, we should, also, be held responsible for having caved in to this process that has been accelerating the last 40-45 years.
