dark mountain
shadowing old farming lands
young feeding geese
wet by the ice blue
salt soaked new sea,
brooding time watches through October winds
across Glencoe valley & beyond this land
holding dreams of lives gone before
as life struggles to climb higher
sodden grasses squelch
wood breathes with a quiet sigh
fresh rain kisses, making love with hard rock...
children, women, men die
(like winter clouds giving up their meaning)
young feeding geese
wet by the ice blue
salt soaked new sea,
brooding time watches through October winds
across Glencoe valley & beyond this land
holding dreams of lives gone before
as life struggles to climb higher
sodden grasses squelch
