Eye of The Storm

In one moment she lost
her life,
yet she remains here
alive.
In one moment her heart
was shattered,
yet she holds onto
love.
In one moment her dreams
became drowned,
yet she voices
her hope.
In one moment her prayers
seem unanswered,
yet she looks up
in faith.
In one moment she crumbles
in grief,
yet she’ll one day walk again
strong.
In one moment she remembers
the joy,
in the lives of the ones
she so loved.
In one moment she honors
each one,
whom she lost
in the eye
of the storm.
