Battlefield
In your garden
strange flowers grow
Between the rose bushes
pansies and buttercups
land mines are planted
in strategic positions
As I walk amongst them
carefully watching my step
I realize
You are at war with the world
strange flowers grow
Between the rose bushes
pansies and buttercups
land mines are planted
in strategic positions
As I walk amongst them
carefully watching my step
I realize
You are at war with the world

Thank you Bob for your appreciation.
Had to ask Dan what "lass" means. Now I know.

oh yes...
both growing up
and as an adult
love the blending
of the metaphor
in the ink dear Friend!
indeed we are
at war....if we look closely
like you expressed
expression
is well delivered.
my view.
