Flawed
I'm reminded daily how flawed I am
In the past I didn't give a fuck what you thought
You're not exactly perfect even though you think you are
My mom always went for perfection
I reminded her often it was a losing proposition
She could see dust in places I would never look
I had an interaction a few months ago that stopped me in my tracks
I'm thinking about my professional relationships with women differently
I'm white collar in a blue collar world
I like to call it gray collar
Long story short this is good
I have found a humble space in my raw politics
I'm still flawed but moving in slower motion to judge
Languid and bittersweet
