Flawed

I'm reminded daily how flawed I am  
In the past I didn't give a fuck what you thought  
You're not exactly perfect even though you think you are  
My mom always went for perfection  
I reminded her often it was a losing proposition  
She could see dust in places I would never look  

I had an interaction a few months ago that stopped me in my tracks  
I'm thinking about my professional relationships with women differently  
I'm white collar in a blue collar world  
I like to call it gray collar  
Long story short this is good  
I have found a humble space in my raw politics  
I'm still flawed but moving in slower motion to judge  
Languid and bittersweet  
Learning .....
