PHOBIA
When anthems turn to dust
I will turn in my grave
The staples start to rust
With poison in my veins
My frailty, just like Faust
Spellbound with utter terror
The thing that scares me the most
Is the monster in the mirror
Trapped between when I was something
And the nothing I have become
My phobia becomes reality
Left to devise my own demise
I am an army of just no one
I have compromised immortality
I have dragged myself deep
Lost underneath the waves
The phantoms surely creep
In the fathoms today
The madness behind these eyes
Dominating this horror
And the thing that terrifies
Is the monster in the mirror
Trapped between when I was something
And the nothing I have become
My phobia becomes reality
Left to devise my own demise
I am an army of just no one
I have compromised immortality
Once upon a time
Cold and serpentine
Words were never said
Between the living
And the dead
The madness behind these eyes
Dominating this horror
And the thing that terrifies
Is the monster in the mirror
Trapped between when I was something
And the nothing I have become
My phobia becomes reality
Left to devise my own demise
I am an army of just no one
I have compromised immortality
My frailty, just like Faust
Spellbound with utter terror
The thing that scares me the most
