Image for the poem LET ME DIE FOR YOU

LET ME DIE FOR YOU

Please just stay with me
Flying on cold wings of death
And share with me

The blood of memory

Keep me inside
Your blackened heart
Those oceans of blood
Can’t keep us apart

Centuries stained with crimson tears
Drink from those scarlet cascades
Feed on me, take everything, my dear
Do you still remember

Our first kiss
On the streets of Pompeii?

Let me die for you

If I fade away
Like ash on the winter breeze
In grips of day

Our love withstands the grave

You can find me
Within your heart
Withered and undead
Can’t keep us apart

Memories shine with the doom of dawn
Sip from those scarlet cascades
Travesties tattooed onto pale pawns
Do you still remember

Our first kiss
On the streets of Pompeii?

Let me die for you

Once again

I suffer the torture of oblivion
Every night beneath burning torches
No rest for the wicked tried and cruel
But the pain is void as long as I’m with you

You can find me
Within your heart
Withered and undead
Can’t keep us apart

Memories shine with the doom of dawn
Sip from those scarlet cascades
Travesties tattooed onto pale pawns
Do you still remember

Our first kiss
On the streets of Pompeii?

Let me die for you

Keep me inside
Your blackened heart
Those oceans of blood
Can’t keep us apart

Centuries stained with crimson tears
Drink from those scarlet cascades
Feed on me, take everything, my dear
Do you still remember

Our first kiss
On the streets of Pompeii?

Let me die for you

Once again
