Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it's not there
Just because I'm always smiling, it doesn't mean I don't get hurt
Just because I've faced all my fears it doesn't mean I'm not scared
Just because I'm always with someone it doesn't mean I'm not alone
Just because I acknowledge my mistakes it doesn't mean I have no regrets
Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean its not there
Just because my eyes are always dry it doesn't mean tears are not there
Just because I said I forgive you it doesn't mean I'll forget
Just because I have left you in my old life it doesn't mean in this new life you're not there
Just because my wounds stopped to bleed it doesn't mean the pain has gone away
Just because I  don't talk about it doesn't mean I don't get to think about it every day
Deep inside I still carry a lot of regret
Deep inside I still cultivate a lot of hate
Deep inside I still shoulder a lot pain
Deep inside I still harbor a lot of rage
Just know these are the things I'll take to the grave
No amount of joy will ever take then away
No amount of rain will ever wash then away
I just choose to keep them tucked far away  
Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean its not there
