daisy chains
the daisies are calling
while lazy in their beds
they are excited
wildflowers now dot the land
their passion contagious
the daisies pick up this energy
and bloom more vibrantly
they are the sirens of the fields
calling to fair maidens
"lie down on my natural bounty
spend time in the sun
singing songs with your sisters
and making daisy chains
to adorn your hair with"
they whisper to me of summer
how the fields are alive
all praising mother nature
with up turned faces
they praise the skies
beautiful souls are the flowers
keeper of dreams and wishes
he loves me, he loves me not
they are the keeper of secrets

Truly you are a blessed with a vision of our mother's true beauty. I love the summer. It reflects the greatness of the undefeated Sun and the colours of many shades and shapes of nature. Thank you for this moment of true peace. Beautiful ink.

Beautiful, I love the summer look of wild flowers in the hair. It conjures up thoughts of the peace movement and free love.

I love daisies! The most innocent and wild of flowers to me. And yes, I too felt they held secrets. They've always kept mine. One daisy spontaneously sprouted in our yard with no others to be seen on the block...and I begged the slumlord to leave it be. So he carefully mows around her now...when he mows at all. Bringing me big smiles with this poem, my beautiful Dark Angel. I love you

Oh my love - such an airy free feeling to this ink! I would collect many of those beautiful daisies and not only crown you with them but also designate them to take a “seat” strategically along your pale flesh as we lie with our Mother...
I love you deeply

So wonderful, these flowers that grace our childhoods, motherhoods and beyond. So common, yet powerful all the same. Possibly there's a connection there between them, and the women they universally attract :) Beautiful imagery! I'm always moved when my daughters pick them, and picnic within them, we have some in our lawn 🌼
