Contemplating Infinity

When I was just nine...
my father told me
the definition... of
infinity.

"It goes on forever,"
That's what Daddy said.
And I gotta tell ya... that
messed with my head.

I tried to figure it out... and
struggled to think it through,
but I'd never before encountered
something I couldn't... even... imagine.

I still can't see it... but apparently
maths and science still can't agree
On the nature of...
freak-me-out... In-fi-ni-ty.
