polish the scratches

since beginning of us
we were on the verge
of blowing up
in attempts to defend
our identities
and self-conceptions

you made many sketches
with the bleak graphite
not pushing it too much
easy to erase
and easy to reuse
the ink is for the brave

I opened myself
to the levity of youth
I didn’t knew as lad
my early years were full
of my personal ideology
I never lacked direction

we smoked and chilled
we drank and ate
we fucked and cuddled
we had good times
but we never reconciled
coolness and warmth

you defined your freedom
as not being in a family
support – as not being
in each others way
why having others count on you
allow their influence to cloud you

there’s no life worth living
in a world of chaos
there’s no purpose and meaning
goals, struggle and adversity
are for the serious and uptight
those not really getting it

let go
let go
let go
om-mani-padme-hum
om-mani-padme-hum
om-mani-padme-hum

things shine forth
when you’re attending fully
engaging in endeavours – in pain
hitting and tapping into alignment
until your molecules & structure
becomes non-contradictory

as the internal structure
of a diamond
shining forth
reconciled and unobscured
things shine forth
things shine forth

(inspired by Jordan Peterson)

“Why so soft, so submissive and yielding? Why is there so much negation and abnegation in your hearts? Why is there so little fate in your looks? And if ye will not be fates and inexorable ones, how can ye one day– conquer with me?And if your hardness will not glance and cut and chip to pieces, how can ye one day–create with me? For the creators are hard. And blessedness must it seem to you to press your hand upon millenniums as upon wax, –Blessedness to write upon the will of millenniums as upon brass, – harder than brass, nobler than brass. Entirely hard is only the noblest. This new table, O my brethren, put I up over you: BECOME HARD!”

– Friedrich Nietzsche: Thus Spake Zarathustra
