I like it but don't think you need that last line. It's less preachy without the commentary.

Hmmmm....maybe you are right. I was worried about that. Sometimes less is more.

I'm unsure if I agree with the above, unless that line has changed before I read it.

then I disagree, it's not preachy at all it comes accross to me as the entire point of the vignette.

Having said that, I love this write for so many reasons but the most important is that it is truth on the page and it's presented beautifully.
