ah, i have lived thru many scenes like that.  Now i wonder why i put up with so much bullish*t but i guess we all have our breaking point but they sure push us, don't they?

Hey Layla, for me, 28yrs ago I made a promise, vow or oath, to God, myself then him. His I no longer care about, broken bones ended that however the other two will always remain, I never break a promise nor go back on my word, so as you can see I've mired myself in a pit of sand.
Indeed pushing one over the line seems to offer vast amounts of amusement. Happy to know I'm not alone yet sad that you can relate. Many appreciations for all your kindnesses, they are highly respected my dear friend and do lift me so. Much love and mad respect,

It took me years to have the courage to leave, firstly because he told me i'm nothing without him, that i couldn't stand on my own two feet, secondly i didn't have the money.  From the time i decided to leave it took me 3yrs to save up couple of thousands dollars to finally leave by that time it  became physical abuse where he tried to choke me and hit me.  I proved him and everyone wrong, i can stand on my own two feet doing 2 jobs and paying my own bills, even though i live month to month but nevertheless i survive and i know how to do it.  it's amazing how strong we can be once we take power back.  Thank you for sharing your story makes me feel that i'm not so alone..hugs

Hey Layla, yes the financial plays a big part, medically retired as of 2012, my check is half the size of his however it would take something much mightier than his redundancy to knock me off my Axis, I've worked far to hard earning self love and respect for that to happen. My father's recent death and his final lucid Revelations are the reason for my spin in bombshells Of lucidity it explains all and far too lengthy to try typing again lol. I am indeed however proud you found yourself in the abuse and hardship, that always brings a mighty rebel fisted yell.
