Wanton Butchery

(sonnet)
formule poésie 29/30

Can soul’s destroy be bought with passions’ shame?
Is lovers’ repossess a judgement’s price?
Can “want” be butchered up in pieces claim
That those deemed “right” are all that can suffice.

How have my lovers carved apart my soul,
To cut away what edicts’ won’t allow.
For none would seem to take my wantings whole,
But steal their needs, as mine they disavow.

I merely sought a mutual devour,
A soul to want my company complete.
A soul secure that deems no ruling pow’r,
But works to passions fill, not their deplete.

I've tried to build a some’ of my left parts,
But passions left to rot leave poisoned hearts.
