The First Thing in the Morning 101

( an erotic Sonnet )
   
The first thing in the morning when I wake,  
I see my lover sleeping at my side.  
I sink beneath the sheet his shaft I take  
Between my lips and in my mouth I guide.  
   
It’s first thing in the morn’ while dawn is dim,  
I hear his shallow breath begin to stir.  
I feel the after-warmth so close to him  
From tangled naked bodies where we were.  
   
The first thing in the morning is for when,  
While everything around is tinted blue,  
The scent of love within the lion’s den  
We’ll wear upon our skin in all we do.  
   
That we will keep repeating one on one,  
The first release of day is never done.
