I dream of more than visual meaning
in the wide world around us

I reach to live, even vicariously,
through arcane rituals & taboo practices
of the sacred and the profane

I whisper blasphemy and sing the songs
of an outcast heretic, desires quenched

I satiate my furious mind on all levels
of involvement, active and passive

I observe silently man's carnal crimes,
secret under-societies and murderous
misadventures

I accept your reluctance to join me.
From where I intend to eventually be,
there is no redemption to return.

I extend my bloodless hands to kiss
one last time, never to be as clean again.
