Brownies and orange juice for breakfast
Today's morning drive to work
feels like green smoking repetition
tractor hill exhibits of the Tennessee valley fair
in the faded corners of the Jacobs building blue
near the brown hung drying tobacco and pinned awards
surrounded as a rotting carcass roadkill
being picked clean by a murder of black crows
yet empty as the broken hairy 1970's General Electric ice box back at home
