dark eyed and peaceful
to be
myself
allow it all
to melt
away
into the
wood
markings of her chest
fluid
like the ground
beneath
her feet
she pronounced
words in slurs
little covens of belief
cornering the mazes
of the tiny
narrow caves
of the streams
the pebbles made of carbon calcium
the same
as her teeth
chartering new territory
hooves of golden
fur approached by softened skin
short haired graced
by a long mane
beautiful nostrils
sitting and breathing
by
grazing horses
eating wild grasses
in the warm wind
graced by the morning's dew
she found
a place to be
free
a place to be
among the little bugs
that sing
to find
the field mice
breathing so quickly
dark eyed and peaceful
myself
allow it all
to melt
away
into the
wood
markings of her chest
fluid
like the ground
beneath
her feet
she pronounced
words in slurs
little covens of belief
cornering the mazes
of the tiny
narrow caves

a place to be
free
a place to be
among the little bugs

dark eyed and peaceful

To be able to find just a bit of peace & solitude amidst the chaos of childhood & it's destruction is a treasure in of it's self. I'm glad you found some, even better among God's critters. I loved the quiet strength of your work, it shows your a true survivor in soul & spirit. Excellent work, sincerely,

I could actually feel your sense of peace at being finally to just sit quietly as your surrounding's kept you company. Nature's my happy place it helped that no one dared follow, to filthy they thought. Your quiet word's took me back, thanx for writing this perfect piece I needed to reflect. Sincerely,

Marielle, to have a symbiotic relationship with those other beautiful creature on earth and beyond is a deeply beautiful thing. You have captured that relationship so well in this piece. Your kind eyes probably attract many a creature to your side, Brava!

Such a special piece with such a fresh idea for being a creature in the woods. The second is kind of making fun of yourself, but it's showing the pritine essence of your nature. Your gracious words are worth reading, and they really took me to the scene to see the world around. You have created a dreamland for me.
