(uncollected)
Mass reproduction in terms of a spiritual reconnection
At last a seduction with some convenial redirection
The last of the existence
Of any real persistence
Has far but eluded
The common mind
Left behind
The rare depth of a soul
Has no more then confused us all
Impressive none the less
As we watched it all fall
We need it more than people know
But money's held in bankrupt stores
And when grudge becomes the star
We finally realize how stupid we are
A void in identity mixed with current recognition
A young soul confused, not knowing his disposition
Countries gather together in his all deciding presence
To take part in the conventual condescendence
Intelligence described momentarily in moving pictures
While I can't explain why I'm stuck in these damn fixtures
Nothing will ever be the same
Not for me anyway
Never the less, it'll never last
Just watch the world as it laughs behind glass
Not knowing the changes that they've made
Pouring down like phone-calls in the rain
At last a seduction with some convenial redirection
The last of the existence
Of any real persistence
Has far but eluded
The common mind
Left behind
The rare depth of a soul
Has no more then confused us all
Impressive none the less
As we watched it all fall
We need it more than people know
But money's held in bankrupt stores
And when grudge becomes the star
We finally realize how stupid we are
A void in identity mixed with current recognition
A young soul confused, not knowing his disposition
Countries gather together in his all deciding presence
To take part in the conventual condescendence
Intelligence described momentarily in moving pictures
While I can't explain why I'm stuck in these damn fixtures
Nothing will ever be the same
Not for me anyway
Never the less, it'll never last
Just watch the world as it laughs behind glass
Not knowing the changes that they've made
Pouring down like phone-calls in the rain
