Priorities

Mel this is clever, poignant, and wise. I was encouraged this week when a couple of major gun retailers decided to end sales of assault rifles and change the age to 21 for gun purchases. Also all of the companies that pulled out of NRA member discount programs. But then I thought why now. Why not when elementary kids were murdered in Sandy Hook for example. I'm not complaining just mystified by why it took them so long. Bravisima!

I love that quote. Those numbers are horrifying. Just yesterday my kid's high school got two threatening phone calls both sick twisted pranks but one girl was arrested because of it.

That must be terrifying for you! I am glad an arrest was made. However, I imagine it does not offer much solace for you or your child.

No but we can't be paralyzed by fear...although they love their guns here in Texas.

Even worse a Californian transplanted to Texas where if you say I was born and raised in California many Texans reply,"I'm sorry."

Thank you very much. I am outraged but the lack of change. After the most recent shooting in Florida, I also wrote Unacceptable Modus Operandi, if you have any interest in reading. Political issues are not my normal content but had to find a way to express my concern. Thank you again for your response. Bless.
