The part, your heart, never stops loving, even when the rest lay shattered within. Loves I knew 40 years ago still linger in my heart, like echoes that bounce back and forth off the cold stone walls of eternity. I suppose that even after death, lost love still occupies the shadow in our souls. We may not see them, but they touch us nevertheless...
Let them be butterflies in the wind, going where the breeze may carry them. Let the brightly colored wings of another be blown into your arms that it may land upon your heart and transform into your knight in shining armor...

I think I may have actually... my shattered heart may or may not be starting to love again. And it loves a man who's been close to my heart for sometime. A man named Ryan :)

Very scenic words. It felt true, and I guess we all play the part.
