My grateful thanks, dear Luna, for embracing my visual free verse, and feeling the peace that drifted over a weary poet late one night as the piece initially came to me.  

You're very welcome. One often only finds peace in the silence of night.

On a freezing cold day, this brought a slice of sunshine & warmth, bathed in an orange glow.

This is really pretty, it sounds like it could be about the ' summer of love ' and I love the symbolism of the picture with it, especially the flowers on her skirt..

Thank you dear, I’m glad you like this piece, words & picture.  And I feel the exact same way about that image because the pattern of the skirt seems to be sprouting right out of the ground!

I was hoping for interpersonal romance. I like this unique romance of nature, especially with your personification in stanzas 3 and 4.
