If home is where the heart is
I want to come home
But we’re floating like dust
And frozen like stone
If home is where the art is
Paint me a picture
Something to hold on to
A permanent fixture
If home is where the start is
Let’s run away
Make new memories
And forget the old days
If home is where the heart is
Make your way home
Stop with the pain
That leaves us monochrome
If home is where the art is
Let’s paint our own story
One with love and smiles
Not faded and chalky
If home is where the start is
Let’s start anew
Build a life from the dreams
That only we knew
If home is where the heart is
I want you to come home
Uncover the dust
And lift the lid off this tomb
If home is where the heart is
It’s not home without you
If home is where the heart is
Tell me we can get through
