Whitewashed Tombs Dressing Up Disfigured Skeletons
The whitewashed tombs
Dress up the disfigured skeletons;
To appeal to even the most
Faint of heart.
Dressing up the outside with
Makeup to coverup their
Heinous crimes.
All to distract from the
Evil within those
Whitewashed tombs.
Diverting their best efforts to
Dressing up the outside, so you
Don't really notice the power of the
Makeup they use; nor the
Whitewashed tombs they retire to.
Putting their best appearance forward.
Nothing but deceitful alluring smiles
Surround you like a hostile hug.
Providing a false sense of security,
so you don't notice when the mutilated
Skeletons undress and climb into their
Whitewashed tombs.
Trying with all they have to distract you
From the twisted illusion they all
Follow like blind sheep.
I'm believing that they are simply too dull, or possibly too
afraid to form their own opinions.
Playing as if they provide peace inside,
but honestly they thrive
Off the pain and guilt from sin.
Sorry but pain and peace don't play well together,
and sin is part of being human.
All of this to cover up a sinister fable!
Like a cult they attempt to force you to
Believe the deadly tell they spin.
The reality, though, they are simply
Pretty skeletons with disfigured skulls
Hiding in whitewashed tombs.
