One of those days

Some days are better than others
Some days just aren't
Today is one of those days
 
When your dreams leave you feeling less
Taking away the joy of the day
Leaving you feeling low
 
When nothing feels right with the world
And nothing you do makes it better
We contemplate life and the way things are
 
When you lose control  
Of the life you were trying for
You can get just as lost
 
No amount of tears can make it better
And the louder you scream
The more your pleas go unheard
 
Our grip on reality falls away
We wonder what it is we have done  
To deserve to feel this way
 
And we wonder, when it will end.  
That's how I feel today.
