I know I was always faithful
but I cheated on you
I lied to you constantly
to love myself too
I broke up with a part of myself
to stay monogymous with you
Because I fell in love with the woman I was becoming
And you said
you couldn't love both of us
So I took her hand, helped her up
and left you in the dust
