The World from The Eyes of Young

society has glossed over what is really going on
we have the media and the government to thank for that one
what has the world come to?

lies has become truth and the truth gets you in trouble
not the other way around
don't believe me? how do you think politics work in this country?

The man we put in the big chair with the red phone just shows us where our priorities are
just for looks
it all has to do with money
not pride in the country
or with our safety in mind.

the orange Cheeto with the bad combover is going to be the end of us all

the media covers up what is really going on
it doesn't talk about the most important things
just how someone was offended but some statues

pardon me if I am a little hurt and concerned
I would rather have our planet back to the way it was

we are more concerned with people kneeling during a song than what is going on with a country with a leader that thinks we are the big problem

the real issue is
the whole world is the problem

how can we make it all better?
