Nobody's Supposed To Be Here

Sometimes the emotion of love creeps up from nowhere
Like Deborah Cox said, nobody's supposed to be here
You really thought that you'd tried that love thing for the last time
Then you met someone who you vibe with who stays on your mind

One who's removed your cloudy days and brought a little sunshine
Heart was securely locked but they broke in and committed a crime
Now everytime they cross your cerebellum you just can't help but smile
Got your nose so wide open and you haven't felt that way in a long while

Can't believe that what you're feeling could even possibly be true
But your fluttering heart when you both talk has you all confused
Feeling like Cupid shot you with a bolus of love that is being infused
Spreading your wings like a black butterfly is what you've chosen to do

Granting them access to enter your heart threshold and gave 'em a set of keys
And whenever you passionately embrace it causes you to feel weak in the knees
Frequently finding yourself listening to love songs and reciting the lyrics of them all
Like it's amateur night at the Apollo & you're avoiding Sandman pushing you along

Your inner fear has you wondering how things will progress
Tried to avoid falling for them, didn't, but you gave it your best
You only live once so go ahead & take a shot or two of love to the head
Maybe even indulge in a whole bottle of it at night before going to bed
