If This World Were Mine

If this world were mine, I'd humbly get down on bended knee
Asking you to turn this house into a home by being my Queen
Everyday will be a holiday as I shower you with flowers, candy, & poems
Expressing how I cherish & love you as you're sitting up on your throne

I'll always lift you up on a pedestal & express to you that I see you as being divine
A Goddess in the flesh who deserves nothing but the best for an infinite lifetime
Allow me to consentingly carry the weight of this evil world on my shoulders
Shielding you from its detrimental effects as this game gets colder & colder

Me without you is like a beautiful rose with damaged petals
My lonely heart would fall apart if lying next to me wasn't you
Like a tree without roots, can't see me without you, so I'd fall
An upset stomach causing vomit like when I received that call

The dreadful one from my father telling me Granny's fight was over
And it's taking an enormous concerted effort for me to try to recover
So Queen come join this King and allow me to fulfill your every fantasy
If this world were mine, I'd stop time so the end of you & I will never be
