Conflicted Thoughts

He's got conflicting thoughts running laps around his mind
Because he's been down this bumpy road several of times
And he has experienced some extremely emotional rides
So he's starting to second guess what he's feeling inside

Deep down within his gut his instincts are saying that they're true
It's causing him to introspectively contemplate what he should do
He knows that he shouldn't start another chapter before ending the last
Regardless of this known fact he feels that he can't let opportunity pass

He's feeling her and she's also feeling him
And he doesn't want those feelings to end
Things happen for reasons; make no mistake
Somethings are meant to be; lets just call it fate

He's decided to just live in the moment and let the chips fall where they may
The journey of life is short and no one is promised to live to see another day
The onus of ones happiness is to be fulfilled individually on their own terms
So as a man he's taking his destiny into his hands as that's what he's discerned
