the human desire to be known
as humans
we crave the presence of others
we cry to be loved and known and thought about
we desire recognition and fame
but it doesn’t matter
because all we need is the knowledge
that at least one person out there
knows us as us
and not the mask we hide behind
but sometimes there are cases
where that isn't true
- so i ask
if no one in the entire world cared for you
do you even exist at all?

yes, we do yearn to be cared for, as us(humans) , as the true self and to be understood..
and I feel...
it wouldn't be "no one in the entire world caring for you"
when you, we, I, have ourselves to care for..
Wouldn't having these thoughts itself be showing proof that our self , care for our self..?
maybe, deep down, we know who we truly are even though it may not seem so,
but we value our true self , and just yearn for others to recognize because "self" just gets lonely caring by itself..?
they'll always be at least one, that cares for us, the one that may matter the most;

that is extremely truthful.
I agree that perhaps we do have ourselves to love us
and perhaps that is not enough sometimes
but it should be
and I think we're learning a bit more everyday that is it.
