Oh Ocean
Your silver waves weave
The embroidered tapestry
Strung and woven by human history
Hanging under the vast canopy
Saying a devious story.
A hypocrite!
Preach mercy but deliver cruelty.
That is what I want to call you. Sorry!

Don’t ever apologize for how you feel.
As beautiful as it is, the ocean can be a most dangerous place.

Love the turn in this one ... it is so easy to forget the mercilessly of the sea.

So glad you loved the turn Soledad. Right, so easy to be tricked by its seeming mercy. Thanks for your support!

Since The Bleak Pacific didn't completely convey my thoughts, so I added this piece to conclude what I have in mind. I love ocean, but often are terrified of its immense power of devastration.....thanks for your suport David! I am honored.......

Love the ocean, but as pretty as it is appears on the surface I refrain from diving into it's depths...
Beautiful write.

Exactly as meant – really enjoyed this piece.
Flattered to hear of your visits to the pieces of my soul that I spill through my fingertips.
I like to think I’m pretty friendly – no need to be shy ;)

Oceans are like majestic mountains
with snowcaps on top
and bubbling hot lava beneath.
You can ski down the mountain
or surf on the waves,
but what lies beneath is a monster
waiting to swallow you whole...
not so unlike the lovely flower
that is your namesake,
pretty and sweetly scented
while concealing sharks teeth
beneath it's leaves...
Beautifully written Rose!!!

I liked this, what is beauty is not always, and what is ugly is sometimes beauty.
