Sex Is Beautiful
sex is beautiful
when we climax.
how could something
so natural
between consensual people
be so demonized
into pathology
it is
why we're all here
after all.
to demonize consentual actions
is to deny
our path to very existence.
how could something
that feels so good
and right
in the moment
between consentual adults
be thought of
as the original sin.
is it
a gimmick
to scare the masses
into obedience
and keep them in line
for population control?
religion, i mean.
for I adhere
to the power
of no particular deity
but instead to
female sexuality.
that alone holds more power
in the physical realm
than any deity would
it seems.
unless ....
those deities
created the female form
which I do believe so
and that alone too
is powerful and beautiful.
how can one demonize
such an intimate
transaction
between two or more people
when they feel closest to
'all that is; when in such ecstacy.
and they say
the deed of earthly orgasm
is the closest
one can be
to the profound ecstacy
of the 'other side'
if such a place exists
i tend to believe them.
some say
we are merely savages
merely horny.
maybe so.
but alas
i think like drugs
great sex can be
the closest we can get
to returning 'home'.
and, we all at some point want to go home.
how can something
that produces understanding
and ultimate ecstacy
and an emotional high
at least in that moment in time
between two or more consenting adults
be so fucking demonized?
isn't that what we all want?
are we denying ourselves, then?
and at some point
we all want to go home ....

Perhaps there is a serious psychological point behind the joking definition of man as someone who comes out of a woman and spends his adult life trying to get back into her!
