Once I longed for those cryptic moments
Tantalizing morsels of intimacy
Phrases of a language no one else understands
Life moved me with notes
And my heart harmonized
But now – I must stop.
I can only live in one universe, unparalleled.
I have removed you from my playlist
And my heart will either
Learn a new melody
Or remain silent

An outstanding metaphor that is this poem. Every vibration pulses within me until the Coda finalizes even hope. No longer will the passion play, but what other choice is there? Heartbreaking this is!

I like it too. :) The funny thing, it started out as much more literal than it sounds. There really are songs I have decided I just can't dwell on anymore. Hope that doesn't kill the magic of the phrase.... LOL Thanks for stopping by.... k

This is powerful BT! Was just thinking that today about my own playlists. They can hinder and/or remind us of the moments that they got us through, but eventually you have to remove some of those :) Great analogy, stay strong!
