another great poem - I like the style of these - definitely suited to performance - I read it out loud a couple of times and finding the beat is so easy, that makes it an excellent write :-)))

I feel this one.  Sometimes it is like the ones we love keep us leashed or collared or caged.  We just move on through our lives, most of the time not even aware.  Then one day we open our eyes and really look around and are dismayed at our condition.
