Largest waterfowl
Long elegant swooping necks
Glides through the water

Giant gulping bills
Colonial fisher birds
Safe passage in death
(iv) Albatrosses
Efficient flyers
Seen as souls of lost sailors

Did you notice the 5,7,5 of the three birds haikus, tried to add a twist. Again, so glad you turned me on to these.

I so enjoy writing Haikus, think I will find another theme soon and do another batch. Did 17 on birds in a 5, 7, 5 format.
