Night Forest Faeries Dance (an acrostic) Inspired by Taryn

Night time in the forest is so different
In the dark I am normally afraid: But not here
Ghosts of old, guard the forest perimeter
Helping and guiding; never hindering
Those wishing to enter the dark forest

Forests are not always as one would assume
On closer inspection the unseen becomes seen
Round orbs of light flit around the bases of oak trees
Elements of surprise overwhelm me as I ogle closer
Suddenly I am surrounded by faerie folk and helper elves
They are just as fascinated by me as I am with them

Faeries are real not a myth; they are not legend
Ancient tales are told of a time long, long ago
Elves, faeries, and people were connected in nature
Relying on each other, only taking what they needed:
Inside a fallen log factory, elves make faerie dust
Each antler bottle is filled and stoppered
So we as people can be protected from harm

Dancing begins to the haunting sound of a musical saw
And I am encouraged to join them in the dance
Nature and the Goddess is praised in song
Craziness is not a belief in faerie folk it’s a lack thereof
Elves are still toiling away, as I leave the dark tree line
