Random Rain

It’s all about an irrational invasion
without my official permission
they cut out the blue sky and decline
randomly with no apology
disturb the peace land of my never-mind

No body but me
push out the glass-paned window
with a delusion of paranoia
I’m daydreaming to give
this water color painting a rainbow

Heavy raindrops faded away my foresight
and yet, heave up my insight
wondering why those sparrows
standing on cables
never worry about wearing raincoats

Pondering what reasons
made the seasons
mess up such unconsciously
perhaps it just maybe
only because of God’s plan
coming up intentionally

Neighborhood houses are hidden
by the pearled sheer panels
when the glistened beads hit the tin eaves
clip-clop, clip-clop, clip-clop
the metallic noises mix with pitter-patters
easily mistaken for thousands of horse hoofs
clattering through the roofs

A little pissed about his delay
keep me such a long wait
no body but me
close the wooden sash
let the dripping raindrops
remain falling in a rush

My heart is a tiny lonely city
as heavy as gravity
I closed it tight to make it quiet
but the hazy mirage about his coming
keep me out peeking

Expecting the next passer-by
soon will pass by
I know who, I really do
he is the last love of mine
truly is oh, my true love

Knock, knock
a beautiful mistake was made
by the unexpectedly random rain
he is not my returned lover
but just one and only
a stranded traveler
