He sneaks up
From behind
Doesn't speak English very well
Asking her if she'll be his friend,
("you be my friend, understand?")
Not having any idea what he meant by that
She said, "it's really hard to know ahead of time."
He said, "no?"
She said, "exactly!"

when you break it down, it's such a weird question, in those circumstances - the response was perfect and polite, not sure If I would have been polite (lol)
