Don't Stop at the Moon
when thoughts of you
break minds horizon
they get me wet cause
Mercury's risin'
you place my Venus upon your face
and take us both out into space
out past Neptune, Saturn, Mars
you drink from me amongst the stars
through the asteroid belt we fly
as Jupiter goes passing by
with ankles locked as I thrust
my toes are close to Uranus
then after you have quenched your thirst
you bring me softly back to Earth
The above was written for a poem challenge
using Neptune and drink.
Then I thought "what the hell"
may as well use 'em all :-)
