Calling

As my flesh called for you
My spirit grew weak without you
Like a sleepless child's first night home
The sounds of your blood rushing stops the ringing
The ringing in my ear from corrupted souls
Loving falsely
Falsely loving
It is you who is true
Even with the months spent apart
I felt you tugging on my heart
Your spirit yelling at you to go home
Back to my home
Back to your home
Back to our home
As my flesh called for you
My spirit grew weak without you
On the death bed of love
And you're my IV
My entire life before my eyes
Then there's you
My light
Not the light to the end
But the light to the beginning
Another beginning for you and I
As my flesh called for you
My spirit grew weak without you
But with our hearts within distance
Inner peace has been found
Now my flesh can stop calling for you
While my spirit sits and talks with you
