What a delightful twist! There would be much regret indeed ( or so I feel ). There's too much beauty in both genders for one to exist without the other.

Most men are pigs - no wait, I like pigs, I take that back :-)

  Ahhh...at what price, indeed--gender equality! I couldn't help a wistful smile at the subtle irony of this one!( Sort of follows the  idea of being careful of what one wishes for...)

Inexplicable...how it  seems, that certain, overlooked consequences, invariably come with the ultimate attainment of certain goals... With that in mind...as regards to a darker aspect,  i thought about, when i finished reading : in this new, female only society, was gender selection perfected? ( if not...were males simply "eliminated"??) Wondering.....only wondering...:p  (Tragic...sad...awful...either way)

BTW...have you ever considered writing any Sci-Fi themed short stories/novels? Or...perhaps,continuing with further poems developed from/inspired by, this piece? I believe you have quite a talent for creating in this genre, My Friend!

I have written some short stories and have two novel plans - but I just don't have the patience to spend the amount of time it would take.

I think in my mind women had invented or created a type of sperm that would only produce female babies - I think I was trying to reverse China (lol) :-)

I will ponder more Sci-fi, but almost all of the sci-fi poems I have written have been tongue in cheek or comedic - thanks for your read and such positive comments :-) - Hugs :-)

David, you and your bottles and colored caps...I hope you never run out of any! Enjoyed this even though I did gasp momentarily thinking of only women walking around...many can be bitchy and catty and I'm not such a fan...can the recipe be sure to avoid such ingredients?!! But then again perhaps the vibrators would take my mind off of that....wait...can we have both??
