Feeding the beast
to obviate exposure
the offender sleeps
in a chinked enclosure
lying in wait
not to be tamed
rearing its head
whenever named
dulling the impact
hinder the damage
fleeing repeatedly
from that which is savage
conditioned survival
always flight
reflexive response
woeful plight
objective clear
contrived intent
deceive the self
unknowing consent
