Rainy With a Chance of Hope

This is where my story starts
Where pains subside,
And laughs begin.
Tested emotions erratic like a caged hen
 
 I look at the horizon searching for the bigger picture
Lost out in sea with nothing but sharks around waiting for my fall,
Or waiting for my reign
 
My hopes to succeed and plant the forgiving tree’s seed ahead of me
My inspirations inspired by the others pain that’s undesired
The power to heal gives you the power to steal,
People’s hearts
 
In fair bay area where I lay my scene,
My new and old struggles break new mutiny
My parents civil blood leaves their hands unclean,
A child caught between two foes hopping to be free,
One’s fate had ended too early causing sorrow and uncertainty
Wondering if the strife went to ashes
The wondering created a backlash that smashes,
A forgiving child,s dream to be who they want to be
 
Obstacles upon obstacles
Climbing the tip of the iceberg hoping that childhood dreams don’t vaporize to steam
Cooling the climate walking away from chaos,
Dew drops collect on the surface,
Rainy with a chance hope
