Hour Glass
One with the sand at your feet on the beach;
is the closest thing to dreams, expectations could meet;
propose a toast to a love one or a friend who is close;
the hours pass, what a blast; how the feeling is sweet;
is this love, is this life; as precise as could be;
exchanging hugs, making love, on a lovely retreat;
the hours pass, pretty fast, than you head right to sleep;
the hour glass, for the day is finally complete;
the next day you take a shower from your head to your feet;
wash your hands, look in the fridge, fix a meal, and then eat;
the day has finally begun; yesterday on repeat;
outdoors with your people, or aside in discreet;
turn on the tv, hit the pool, or simply just be;
pour a drink, eat a snack, anything to distract;
the fact that sand down the hour glass of time will soon meet;
you have a moment or two, realizing how this is deep;
but anyway you sip your drink, as you think in your seat;
hit up the love of your life to come back to the suite;
you both embrace, kiss awhile than you head for the sheets;
you love long, you love strong, dialogue something deep;
and as you love, so hard as energy depletes;
the hour glass slows down, and your eyes would just meet;
you are the reason, I am here in the first place they see;
you hold each other as the night slowly comes to an end;
the hour glass doesn't matter; you are truly at peace
