Today I went to the college
I go there seeking knowledge
Concepts I need to ascertain
Positive ideology I feed my brain

Cracking books to educate-
myself before it’s too late
Regurgitating most of this learning
Repetition may be the turning-

point I try to make
Behaving kind of fake
To fit into the classes
Like music for the masses

Except I became a pariah
For not being a liar
Honesty is a dirty word-
and education is absurd

New wave entitled attitude
Funny I was never that rude
Respect falls into a crack
Words are under constant attack

Some girls kiss their teeth
Bounced on 90 credits relief-
for me so I can learn
disruptive behaviour not my concern
