The wait
Did You notice
that moment
I was silent
even as I held my breath
You said not
one word
I waited
passed out
entirely focused to
the sweet scent
of inhale
thick sweet syllables
that droop
at least one like
orange
I hope
You wake me up
that moment
I was silent
even as I held my breath
You said not
one word
I waited
passed out
entirely focused to
the sweet scent
of inhale
thick sweet syllables
that droop
at least one like
orange
I hope
You wake me up

in my experience, it isn't worth the wait.
but I hope for an epiphany in your case :)
sleep is underrated anyway.

And there IS the other half to My Brother-So good to see Ya Sister Hellion!!! No......most folks/people don't deserve time or pass...god knows I love sleep-Just never get to do it often. When we find those that ARE the clock...well then time is all that matters!!! This Miki was a quick pun to mundane nothing...Big egos abound in humanity and my own healthy ego scoffs at most of it.....soon as we Believe we are truly "Deeper" than most...then we become a slap to it all. Yes there are times to be serious and think it such ways...but often times people start to believe their bullshit of position and place. Everyone becomes Confucius

Appreciate You flying in KD!!! No weight here...more like "air" this was exploiting depth out of silliness.....being silly for sake of and passing it off as blood on the flower.....sometimes "serious" Artists need to take it down a tad...or at least the ego.
Re: Re. The wait
Soula- my brother- well...it didn't work as, you know a fine fine painter tried hands and scribble attempting to poke fun at admirers didn't realise he'd failed- his scribble indeed was such fine work despite his intention. Try again! ;-)

Haha Appreciate You KD...I wasn't poking fun at You guys, moreso at myself. I bore myself quite often or run repetition to styles I favor...This ditty was example.

The sweet, sweet poetry that hides in a moment. This poem is a pure example of finding the beauty in a normal moment.
I enjoyed the image of the orange. When I went to Rome there were lemon and orange trees right by the hotel we stayed at. The smell of Sicilian oranges fresh off the tree. This poem took me right back there, added a distinct fragrance to this gorgeous read.
Wonderful stuff!

"This poem is a pure example of finding the beauty in a normal moment. " --Exactly!!! Lemons and Orange on the vine-Quite the fragrance...The use of orange here was simply because of One syllable...some folk say it with two...Moments are like Hours when not touching those we Love...even if exploiting dry humor to say it.

Waking up is hard to do, and thoughts are still fragmented as the dreams drift away. Some gather their wits more slowly than others. Now, where was I.... Fine work souladareatease!

Ing is the hardest part mr Petty penned..
But in my mind patience pays off in spades if the time spent is worth the wait.

Damn if I'm not glad to see You Brother!!! You are so VERY right about that-and Indeed it has been time well spent!!! This little scribble was my way of humor...toward minimalist Writing being treated as "real depth" or concrete. I Love the form, I spent so long on Writing in such forms for so long; albeit mostly nature topics and love...but I love it...but I bore myself with it, and the form has caught on like wildfire......I made the comment to Vee how Minimalism can be used so easily to make the mundane seem so philosophical and deep ...it's rather like cheating at math with a calculator......so In the way of show and tell, as we were texting I wrote that before She could respond.lol Depth is over-rated and tends to be easily faked by the spin of simplicity posing as "art"
I am Honoured by the RL Good Sir!!!

Hahaha no patience involved :)
just a quirky moment having fun with Vee and thumb my nose to "proposed" depth of Pen ...simplicity is nice...sometimes it is exploited.
Thanks for the visit Brenda!!!
