You met & the spark lit
The cigarette started burning
You put it to your lips & took a drag
You got a taste of her
& now you can't get enough
On your way to work
You light one up & call her while she's getting ready
During your lunch break you ask her to eat with you
And light another one while you wait for her
You didn't realize how addictive cigarettes can be
But now you're hooked but you love the feeling
As the time passes all you do is smoke & talk to her
You spark the flame & the bedroom gets hot
She's burning your walls down
She's all the chemicals in the cigarettes you love
You love the high she gives you
But it's toxic
You inhale all of her
& before you know it like smoke she fades into thin air
She's the poison you love
& you're too naive to see it
Now the inside of you is dark
& you're doomed to die from a broken heart
